Dr. Brian Murphy is the owner and lead chiropractor at Stamford Spine. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from University of Bridgeport, where he also received his Masters degree in Human Nutrition. Along with being a spine specialist, Dr. Murphy has an extensive background in massage therapy and rehabilitative exercise. He is highly trained in the latest conservative muscle and joint treatments. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and Connecticut Chiropractic Association. In his free time Dr. Murphy enjoys exercising and spending time with his wife and two children.
Lisa Parks has been a massage therapist for over 25 years, having graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in 1991. Although she practices many modalities, she specializes in deep tissue massage. She has worked closely with professional athletes and has extensive experience working with cancer patients as they go through chemotherapy.
Kris Tsai is a certified athletic trainer in both the United States and Taiwan. He earned his Master’s degree in Athletic Training from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire State. A native of Taiwan, he obtained both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physical Education from the National Taiwan University of Sports. He holds an EMT-1 licensure in Taiwan, an American Red Cross Basic Life Support certificate and has a background in Chinese Medicine. He loves adventure and outdoor activities and is enjoying exploring southern Connecticut.
